Vice President's Message on DACA

September 22, 2017

Dear MSU Students:

As you may already be aware, MSU issued an institutional statement regarding the University’s position on ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The MSU College of Law's Immigration Law Clinic will consult confidentially with DACA students regarding their situations and legal options. In addition, Counseling and Psychiatry Services (CAPS) is available to any student who may be feeling anxious or fearful as a result of recent developments. Follow the link to visit the CAPS website or make an appointment by calling 517-355-8270. If you know someone seeking such assistance, please share these resources.

For information and important updates regarding the DACA program, please visit the MSU College of Law’s Immigration Law Clinic website and click “Immigration Resources.”

We recognize the hard work and dreams of our students as they pursue opportunities for success through higher education. In upholding our core values of quality, inclusiveness, and connectivity, we create a place where students from across the world become a part of something bigger – together we are Spartans. MSU is committed to supporting students seeking to better themselves, their families and communities.

Spartans Will.
