Please click on the scholarships below to read more about the donor and the application criteria and process. The deadline to apply for most of these scholarships has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2017. HOWEVER, please make sure you read details of each scholarship for differences in deadline, requirements and submission processes.

Career Services MSUFCU Internship Opportunity Awards

  • MSU Federal Credit Union Internship Opportunity Award program is now accepting applications from any undergraduate student who is actively pursuing or has secured an unpaid summer internship that is focused on non-profit organizations, government, media, the arts, public relations or advertising.  While preference will be given to Lansing area and Michigan non-profits and start up businesses, intern locations anywhere in the U.S. are eligible. Greek Community Scholarships

  • David Getz Award was established for members of Phi Delta Theta from MSU. APPLICATION
  • Mary Beth Knox Scholarship was established to keep Mary Beth’s (member of Alpha Chi Omega) memory alive by assisting fellow students, one member of a sorority and one member of a fraternity from the MSU Greek Life community, whose lives have been impacted by cancer. APPLICATION
  • Morgan McGregor Memorial Scholarship was established in 2014. Priority shall be given to members of Pi Beta Phi Sorority; preference given to applicants pursuing a degree within the Eli Broad College of Business; if they’re no applicants from Pi Beta Phi Sorority, then scholarship becomes available to members of all Greek Councils. APPLICATION
  • Panhellenic Scholarship was created for women who hold membership in a Panhellenic Council affiliated sorority and exhibit leadership through participation of the chapter house and in the Greek Life community. APPLICATION
  • Terry M. Watts Scholarship was established for members of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at MSU. APPLICATION

LBGT Resource Center Scholarships

  • Pride Scholarship was founded in 2000 by Bill Beachler, MSU Alumnus, and GLFSA, the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Faculty Staff and Graduate Student Association of Michigan State University. This is one of only a handful of such scholarships offered by U.S. universities. APPLICATION
  • Stephen P. Pougnet and Christopher J. Green Endowed Scholarship, with a value between $2,000 and $5,000, is awarded to a currently enrolled student of junior or senior standing (preference is given to students enrolled in The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University). Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence and involvement with or contributions to LGBT communities. APPLICATION

MSU Safe Place Scholarship

  • Milton E. and Kathleen D. Muelder Scholarship was established to support MSU undergraduate, graduate, or transfer students who are survivors of relationship violence where their education has been interrupted or postponed due to domestic violence. Applications are due and reviewed on an ongoing basis, for fall, spring and summer semesters for MSU students currently enrolled. APPLICATION

Recreational Sports and Fitness Services Scholarships

  • Charles V. and Joyce E. Taylor Family Scholarship was established to inspire future student employees of Recreational Sports and Fitness Services who are earning their undergraduate degrees at MSU. APPLICATION
  • Harris “Frank” Beeman Scholarship is a $1,000 award given annually to student employees of Recreational Sports and Fitness Services in honor of Director Emeritus Dr. Harris Frank Beeman, Director of Intramural Sports from 1948 to 1987. APPLICATION

Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities Scholarships

  • Last year, the RCPD awarded over $40,000 worth of scholarships to both graduate and undergraduate students. Get your applications in on time, so you don’t miss out on these amazing opportunities for funding. MORE INFORMATION

Scholarships for Student Leadership

  • Asian Pacific American Leadership Scholarship was established to support student leadership involvement with the Asian Pacific American community at Michigan State University. APPLICATION
  • ASMSU Scholarship for Student Leaders supports students who exhibit active educational and professional leadership throughout the university community and ensure that the financial demands and impacts on these students are minimized. APPLICATION
  • Efrain and Francisca Marinez Farm Workers Scholarship was established to support and encourage educational opportunities for farm working students who wish to pursue and earn college degrees through MSU. APPLICATION
  • Excalibur Scholarship supports students who serve in leadership roles across campus.  APPLICATION
  • Todos Organizados Para Cuidar Estudiantes (TOCE) Scholarship was established to support students who exhibit involvement and commitment to the MSU Chicano/Latino Community. APPLICATION

Scholarships for Student Parents

  • Christine S. Carter fund for Student Parents was established to support MSU Student Parents. Preference is given to support single parents and those that demonstrate financial need. APPLICATION
  • Council of Graduate Students Childcare Support Award endowment was established by the Council of Graduate Students Graduate students to provide graduate students with support for costs associated with childcare at Michigan State University. This endowment supports all income eligible graduate students at MSU, domestic and international. Low income undergraduate student parents may also be eligible for the MSU Child Care Grant funding.   • Student Parents on A Mission Scholarship is established to support members of the Registered Student Organization, SPOM, who are active SPOM participants and meet the scholarship criteria. APPLICATION

Scholarships for Student Veterans

  • Doane VET Study Abroad Scholarship will provide a minimum $500 Study Abroad Scholarships for veterans attending MSU to be awarded for spring, summer or fall semester. APPLICATION
  • Doane VET Success Scholarship will provide a minimum $500 Success Scholarships for veterans attending MSU to be awarded for spring, summer or fall semester. APPLICATION
  • Lou Bender Endowed Scholarship for Veterans will provide a minimum $500 for veterans attending MSU to be awarded for spring, summer or fall semester. APPLICATION
