Heather completed her PhD at Michigan State University in higher, adult, and lifelong education. Her dissertation, Post-College Reflections on Involvement in The Vagina Monologues: A Feminist Narrative Analysis, explored the meaning undergraduate students make and lasting impressions of their involvement in a particularly transformational and provocative co-curricular experience—Eve Ensler’s iconic feminist play. Her research interests include transformational student experiences, co-curricular learning, student engagement in identity-based activism, and exploring feminist methodologies in higher education.
